The SOUTH AUSTRALIAN RIGHT BITE for Schools and Preschools
South Australia now have Preschool and School Canteen Guidelines called The Right Bite. These guidelines can be accessed at the following website:

Some of the Healthy Kids registered products within the print and online Buyers Guide are no longer recommended for sale in schools in South Australia ie:
1. The Sweetened Water category of beverages
2. Drinks containing caffeine ie potentially some Coffee Flavoured Milks (if caffeinated coffee is an ingredient)
3. Food or beverages with artificial sweeteners added as an ingredient
For the Healthy Kids 2009 registration period we will be highlighting the products within the Buyers Guide that do not meet the South Australian Guidelines in order to further assist schools in South Australia.
